Did you know that the first three letters ever transmitted over the internet were LOL? I can guarantee that you’ll be laughing throughout Theatre Enthused’s production of Influenced. Taking us down a rabbit-hole not of kitten videos, but society’s fascination with the web, Influenced is a hard-hitting look at our online lives.

Influenced is comprised of a series of sketches which scathingly satirize social media culture. Sam Chaulk performs her wonderfully wacky creation with gusto, switching characters with ease, and all the while keeping this slightly unsettling persona. Aided by Algo (voiced by Kate McArthur) they take us on a wild journey though the internet and our obsession with it.

Chaulk does an impressive job interacting with the audience; she can really think on her feet and makes hilarious observations of the audience members. She deftly handled everything thrown at her while definitely dishing out major zingers!
