With fall in full swing, what’s better than getting cozy in an Irish Pub, grabbing a pint of Guinness, and listening to an amazing actor spin a harrowing tale of the brutal underbelly of Irish society? I can’t think of a better way to spend a day! And that’s exactly what you’ll get with Fly on the Wall Theatre’s production of The Good Thief. Written by Connor McPherson, directed by Rod Ceballos, and starring David Mackett, The Good Thief is a unique and powerful theatre experience.

Performances of The Good Thief are taking place at Noonan’s Irish Pub, an inviting little spot on the Danforth. It’s the perfect setting for Mackett to tell this story; it only seems right that the story is being told in a similar place to where it all starts.

David Mackett is a brilliant performer. He holds our attention so intensely over that hour that you could’ve heard a pin drop. We watch as he recounts this tale with each bit of emotion flooding out of him. McPherson’s writing is so detailed and provides such vivid imagery, combine that with Mackett’s dramatic expertise and you truly have an impressive production.

There are only a few more chances to catch The Good Thief before it closes, and you MUST SEE this play! For more information and tickets visit https://www.flyonthewalltheatre.ca/upcoming—the-good-thief-2022.html
